Jenin – Israeli settlers, late Saturday night, intercepted the vehicle of the Governor of Tulkarm, Abdullah Kmail, and attempted to assault him and his escort at a junction near Tulkarm while he was on his way home.

The governor said that settlers’ assaults against Palestinians can no longer be tolerated, holding the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for igniting the situation in the West Bank, Jerusalem and inside Israel due to settlers’ attacks against our people, the last of which was the kidnapping, burning and killing of teenager Mohammad Abu-Khdeir in Jerusalem, he said.
