As ICC case looms, Israel panicking and preparing its defense

BEGGING THE AMERICANS TO SAVE THEM
According to published reports, Prime Minister Netanyahu implored a delegation of “Israel-firster” lawmakers from America to help keep his country out of the ICC. No doubt the contingent of willing traitors will do their utmost to accommodate him. Meanwhile the military of his country is said to be “gearing up” for the imminent war crimes case at the Hague. Gaza: Were war crimes committed by Israel or not?

SPECULATION BY EVERYONE, EXPERTS WEIGH IN
Gaza - tiny little boy trying to be brave by himselfWhile most people have never heard of the Laws of War, it is an instinctual reaction to recoil in horror from the barbaric and savage attacks “Israel” has wrought upon Gaza. Intentional destruction of civil infrastructure, attacking protected civil facilities such as hospitals, schools, banks and mosques, as well as outright targeting of civilians are obviously objectively and morally wrong, laws or no laws. Every parent who sees the images of dead children, injured and terrified children and ponders how many are now homeless and orphaned cannot help but be moved. But there are laws that govern conduct in wars, and all countries and parties to a conflict (in the case of non-state actors, and in this case of a non-sovereign State of Palestine). Violation of these laws are war crimes. But what to the experts say about “Israel’s” choice of targets and slaughtering of entire families? As the State of Palestine is poised to accede to the Rome Statute and drag “Israel” to the Hague, their insight, knowledge and opinions are timely and informative. Gaza: UNOCHA Report 6 August

DESPITE CEASEFIRE, HUMANITARIAN CRISIS
OCHA 6 Aug Hospital StatusThe first day of the 72-hour cease-fire, which entered into force on 5 August at 08:00, has passed without serious incident, as negotiations continue under Egyptian mediation to reach a more permanent agreement. Markets and shops gradually resumed operating as Gaza residents overcome fears from the experience of previous, short-lived pauses. Municipal workers and service providers are clearing streets and rehabilitating and repairing infrastructure. Many of the displaced have returned to check if their homes are still inhabitable or their contents salvageable. Medical and rescue teams succeeded in reaching previously inaccessible area and to recover the dead from under the rubble. Of growing concern are the thousands of explosive remnants of war which are scattered throughout civilian areas, posing a major threat to children, farmers, IDPs returning home and humanitarian workers Continue reading Gaza: UNOCHA Report 6 August

Gaza: Let there be light

AID TO STEM HUMANITARIAN DISASTER
Gazans will be able to have some power, now that help has arrived to alleviate the humanitarian disaster, especially in healthcare and sanitation. Due to the 8-year long blockade (or siege, if you prefer) of Gaza by “Israel,” that same limited the amount of fuel and then attacking first the power plant and then later the fuel tank, Gaza was virtually without power for days. A lucky few had their own generators but most did not. But there will be light in Gaza again. Continue reading Gaza: Let there be light

Concern grows over unknown status of prisoners of war

PRISONERS WILL BE BARGAINING CHIPS
More than 200 young men were taken as prisoners of war from Gaza by “Israel” yet it has not released information on their status. This is causing great concern following the revelations that a number of civilians in Gaza were summarily executed by “Israeli” soldiers. And considering how “Israel” does not respect international laws, including the Laws of War, the concern is well-placed. Continue reading Concern grows over unknown status of prisoners of war

Use of barrel bombs show Israel’s desperation

CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS NOT ENOUGH
As more information emerges from the deadly genocidal project on Gaza by “Israel” the facts show the increasing desperation of the latter’s military. It’s toy “soldiers” -even their best- could not be victorious against Palestinian resistance fighters on the field and were routed at every turn. It could only kill from afar with fighter jets, gun boats and tanks. But it has now been made clear that its desperation mounted enough to opt for unconventional weapons, the kind that when used in Syria, have caused international outcry. This also shows that the intent of the military state was not to destroy tunnels or Hamas or stop rockets, it was to destroy Gaza. Continue reading Use of barrel bombs show Israel’s desperation

Utter absurdity of requiring Gaza be “disarmed”

OCCUPIER LOST, WANTS MORE VULNERABLE STRIP
“Israel” is considered still the occupying Power of Gaza, though it typically has no “soldiers” stationed inside Gaza Strip. In international law  “Territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army. The occupation extends only to the territory where such authority has been established and can be exercised.” (Laws of War: Section III, Article 42). A siege: controlling all the ingress/egress, imports and exports, population registry and so on, constitute “effective military control” and therefore occupation. That the occupying power, who regularly assassinates citizens of the territory that it occupies, ‘counts calories,’ works to keep the economy of the territory at a level just above a ‘humanitarian disaster’ and makes war upon it repeatedly would demand that any reconstruction of the infrastructure that it intentionally destroyed, including homes, be linked to total disarmament is out of the Twilight Zone. It is absurd on its face, has no connection to international law and is simply the wish of the occupier to ensure that the population it so occupies is more vulnerable to its predations and more subservient and docile. It is, in a word, madness. Continue reading Utter absurdity of requiring Gaza be “disarmed”

Palestinian resistance: how it evolved

FROM RABBLE TO SERIOUS SOLDIERS
Everything evolves or devolves, and the resistance in Palestine to Jewish domination is no different. It certainly has surprised many in “Israel” and worldwide by its evolution into an organised, highly trained, efficient army. But it was always going to be this way, as long as “Israel” continues to lay siege to Gaza and oppress and dominate Palestine. Now the “Israeli” toy “soldiers” are finding that, like Hezbollah, Palestinian resistance not only fights them but wins each confrontation on the field of battle. This explains why “Israel” prefer to drop bomb and lob artillery from tanks and gun boats. But it is losing even with those mechanical, removed means of causing the death of innocents. Continue reading Palestinian resistance: how it evolved

Fresh massacres in Gaza, desalination plant hit

DESTROY INFRASTRUCTURE, TARGET CIVILIANS
As the “humanitarian ceasefire” ended “Israel” opened fire on a group of civilians in Rafah queued up to get some water, which is extremely scare in Gaza. Also, reports of a group of children who were playing on the roof of the Oweida family home were targeted and attacked. Two children dead, 5-y-o Amal Oweida and her brother 12-y-o Mohammed Oweida, with reports of critical injuries as well. Two children, Amal Eweeda, 5 & Mohammed Eweeda 12 were also killed. Additionally, a school shelter in Central Gaza is reportedly evacuating after receiving a phone call from invaders that they plan to shell the school and nearby mosque. Gaza: Death toll close to 2000, wounded near 10000

Victims’ names and ages were compiled based on information released by the Gaza health ministry, while the circumstances of the deaths were taken from the ministry and local news sources.

These are the names that have been confirmed by medical sources in Gaza. Nearly 10000 have been injured, including children and women, with some losing limbs and others disabled for life. The amount of dead is underestimated as there are many whose bodies have still not been retrieved from the rubble and therefore their names are not listed

The majority of the wounded are children, according to the Ministry of Health. All of the casualties listed below are victims of Israeli bombs dropped on Gaza since Tuesday July 8th. There is a running list of those murdered here, updated daily. For photos and facts about these real people with real lives, families, hopes and dreams, see humanizepalestine.org

Gaza: Will this be the final straw or final solution?

HARSH WORD MUST BE FOLLOWED BY ACTIONS
After the “harsh words” of shock and condemnation that Israel, once again, attacked an URWA school (that transmitted its precise coordinates 33 times to “Israel’s” authorities), will there be action? The Secretary-General of the UN called it “another blatant violation of international humanitarian law” which clearly means that the other violations are not only known but recognised. The Secretary-General has the power and authority to refer a case to the International Criminal Court, but will he? Will the Americans veto another Security Council resolution on behalf of their client state? And what about the ‘final solution’ being spouted by Ministers of “Israel’s” parliament for Palestinians in Gaza? In the totality, the world must unite to stop this genocidal, rogue state. Gaza: UNOCHA report 2 August

HUMANITARIAN CRISIS, DIRE
Following yesterday’s collapse of a 72-hour humanitarian cease-fire brokered by the UN and the USA, hostilities intensified. The Rafah area in southern Gaza was subject to the heaviest shelling and fighting recorded since the start of the emergency, as well as the advancement of Israeli forces westwards into the most densely populated areas. According to Israeli media reports, these developments took place in the context of the Israeli army’s attempts to locate a soldier missing in action and reported to have been captured. Gaza: 7th UNRWA School hit,10 dead 30 wounded

SHELLING IN VICINITY IN RAFAH

Gaza: No victory image, only exit image for Israel

FAILURE AT UNACHIEVABLE GOALS
When a government set unachievable goals for a military campaign, it necessarily dooms it to failure. Considering that Israel keep changing the reasons it launched the genocidal campaign against Gaza, and the astounding losses racked during it, there is no happy “victory image” that can be sold to the Jewish public. Too many funerals of Jewish “soldiers,” too many equipment losses and not one military success to be had. This has been stated by myself and others several times, and it has been confirmed in the Israeli Jewish press as well. And the most recent time was yesterday. Continue reading Gaza: No victory image, only exit image for Israel

Qassam: We don’t have Israeli soldier, likely killed by shelling

NO KNOWLEDGE, NOT IN CUSTODY
If there is one thing one can count on with Al Qassam Brigades, besides only fighting “soldiers” not women and children, it is that it take responsibility quickly and publicly when it has captured (not “kidnapped”) an enemy soldier. In this case, the Israeli “soldier” is not in its custody and it has no knowledge of his whereabouts. One must therefore conclude one of two things: 1) the “soldier” was killed by Al Qassam or Islamic Jihad fighters, or 2) there was an attempted capture and the Israelis implemented the “Hannibal directive” of killing its “soldier” to avoid his capture. Continue reading Qassam: We don’t have Israeli soldier, likely killed by shelling

Gaza: the Laws of War in context

LAW VERSUS PROPAGANDA
It is said that “truth is the first casualty of war.” Every war sees propaganda put out by each party for domestic consumption, enemy consumption (comprising an aspect of psychological warfare), and international consumption, and this recent genocidal project is no different. But noticeably absent from any commentary or news reporting is how the Laws of War are being followed or broken. Accusations without evidence simply constitute propaganda, however, there is ample evidence of violations of the Laws of War in this genocidal war on Gaza that Israel call in Hebrew “Operation Strong Cliff.” Continue reading Gaza: the Laws of War in context

Gaza as it was

With the terrific destruction in Gaza through the last three wars, it seems important and appropriate to remember Gaza, as it was before the zionist Jews came, before they destroyed this ancient and beautiful place.

Gaza (Arabic: غزة transliteration: Ġazzah; : Ġazzah‎ Azzah) is the largest city within the Gaza Strip and within the Palestinian territories. Continue reading Gaza as it was

Peace is not an option: on Israel’s doomed fate

PEACE IS DEEPLY FRIGHTENING TO ISRAEL
In fact, peace is terrifying. While that sounds counter-intuitive to everyone else in the world, to the Jews of Israel it makes perfect sense. The status quo ante is fine: ongoing oppression and dispossession of Palestine and its citizens. That is not peace, that is belligerent military occupation, but that is the choice and preferred situation for Israel’s Jews. Not so for Palestinians. For peace to come to both, peace would have to break out, and that is a serious threat to the government of Israel. It was founded in terrorism and war crimes: blood, death, fire and expulsion of Palestinians. It cannot, as structured and as the society is, survive in a peaceful environment or in peace with its other neighbours. It is a military state, and both the national and personal identity is intrinsically tied to its military and military service. The economy is also deeply enmeshed with the military: it is a manufacturer and also tests out its weapons on Palestinians. Peace with Palestine would require a paradigm shift in national and individual consciousness, but a shift it is not willing or able to make. It is doomed, but by its own hand. Continue reading Peace is not an option: on Israel’s doomed fate

Israel fears investigation, and it should

EVIDENCE OF WAR CRIMES, CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
What Israel dreads almost as much as loss of American military and financial support and diplomatic protection is investigation into its acts in Gaza and the ‘West Bank’ of Palestine. There is ample evidence of war crimes such as targeting undefended civilian dwellings and protected facilities (medical and UN schools), using banned weapons such as DIME and flechette shells. And there is also ample evidence of crimes against humanity. Somehow Israel managed to get itself on the Human Rights Council, but it shouldn’t be mistaken that it can derail investigations into its bad acts. Israel to humanitarians: Why don’t you support our genocide in Gaza?

“BUT WE’RE THE VICTIMS HERE!”
Always the victim even, and especially, whilst victimising Others. Sure, almost two thousand have been killed, but there are still almost two million left to kill in Gaza! Sure we keep changing the ostensible reason for making war on the population we have under siege, but we’re the victims here! The psychopathology of the rotting Jewish society in Israel has been exposed several times, but none more clearly than a plea to the humanitarians in the world support its genocide in Gaza. Continue reading Israel to humanitarians: Why don’t you support our genocide in Gaza?

Wiping it off the map: Israel is doing it to Gaza, Palestine

HAS BEEN DOING IT TO ‘WEST BANK’ FOR YEARS
Even Israel’s military and intelligence, the US intelligence community know that Ahmadinejad did not say Iran was going to “wipe Israel off the map” those it has consistently used that intentional mistranslation provided by the Israeli outfit, MEMRI. But the Jewish military state has been wiping the ‘West Bank’ of Palestine off the map for years, and now it attempts to do the same to Gaza, albeit in a different fashion: by levelling it and making it uninhabitable. And it just cannot comprehend why the world doesn’t approve of its attempted genocide. Continue reading Wiping it off the map: Israel is doing it to Gaza, Palestine
